TERMS & CONDITIONS - PAYMENTS
- Payment of a £50 non-refundable booking fee is required immediately to secure your wedding day. This is then deducted from your final balance.
- A date cannot be held without a reservation fee and the requested date will still be open to other enquiries.
- Dates are given on a first come first serve basis. If another enquiry comes through for your specified date you will be contacted within 24hrs giving you the first option to secure your booking.
- Trials are to be paid at the time of confirming your trial date or no later than the trial date itself.
- Final and remaining balances set out on your invoice is due no later than the day before the booked date
- You agree that by paying your non-refundable reservation fee you are agreeing and accepting Harriet Gallon Makeup business terms and conditions.
- Payments are to be made via bank transfer using bank details listed on invoice
- Failure to make payments within the agreed time frame, may result in the cancelation of your booking.
TERMS & CONDITIONS - CANCELLATIONS
- The client can cancel the event any time up to 14 days before the event by informing the makeup artist in writing. Any cancellations made after this time will be subject to a 50% charge.
- The makeup artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation as the booking fee and all deposits are non refundable.
- The client can cancel a trial at any point, however a trial cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged for at the agreed rate.
- In the unfortunate event that Harriet is unable to attend on the day, due to illness or for last minute unforeseen circumstances all efforts will be made to find an alternative stylist/artist to stand in. If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of the makeup artist every possible endeavour to rectify such situations will be made, however no compensation will be offered on the makeup artist’s part.
- The client is strongly advised to take out wedding insurance to cover against such situations.
- Changes to event dates are subject to availability and a £50 charge, payable at the time of amendment.
TERMS & CONDITIONS - INSURANCE
- Harriet has full public liability insurance to protect both themselves and the client.
- It is highly recommend that each of our brides have full wedding insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances out of either yours or the control of Harriet Gallon Makeup
TERMS & CONDITIONS - ALLERGIC REACTIONS
- Harriet cannot be held liable for sensitivities, allergies or skin/medical conditions that may affect the use of their products.
- The client must inform Harriet of any allergies/sensitivities/skin conditions before any services are carried out. This includes before/during the trial and after if any sensitivities/problems have been found.
- Discount will not be given if you want to use your own products on the day. Harriet also cannot be held liable for the performance and longevity of the product.
TERMS & CONDITIONS - TIMINGS & EFFICIENCY
- To carry out her work efficiently Harriet will need a table/flat surface to set up on (preferably near a good source of natural light), nearby plug socket and chair to carry out hair services.
- 15 minutes is allotted to set up and be ready in time to start services. If suitable conditions are not provided delays cannot be held responsible for if time is lost due to this.
